Yin Yoga

The practice of yin yoga is a sequence of long-held passive postures that nourish our body’s connective tissue.  As postures are held the sensation moves deeper into the body, allowing for profound release. The practice of yin can quiet the mind, heal injuries and infuse the body with a calm energy.  Think slow, softening, deepening, melting….Poses are held anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes.  This two hour practice will include a gentle warm-up, a full yin practice and a long savasana.
