Gentle Yoga Flow:
Experience mindful movement. This class focuses on the postures and the movement we take between the postures. Learn how to transition gracefully and effectively.
This slower paced class focuses on stretching and allows the body to release areas of tension and relax. We use both passive and active postures to nurture and expand flexibility. All levels.
This class focuses on developing heightened body awareness and learning alignment principles. We use a functional approach to yoga to build strength and flexibility. A well-rounded practice to suit all levels.
Yin yoga is a slow-paced passive practice that focuses on nourishing the connective tissue in the joints, and releasing constrictions in the fascia to allowing prana or energy to move more efficiently through the body. Seated and supine postures are held for 3-5 minutes.
Honor your body while exploring the foundations of yoga postures and breathwork. Attention to individual alignment and modifications. This class is geared to those who want to slow things down or are new to yoga.
Rest and Restore:
This class will combine a little bit of movement to relax the body, soothing breathwork and meditation to clear the heart and mind. The practice will include yoga nidra. The whole practice will help calm and restore the nervous system.
Strength and Grace:
This class is for those who want to expand their practice. A gentle to moderately paced class that highlights personal alignment. We use movement (vinyasa) to boost grace, balance and confidence in the body; sustained holds to gain strength and flexibility; and pranayama to facilitate tranquility, mental clarity, focus and the movement of prana.
Inspired Yoga operates out of River Street Theater; a spacious, beautiful, sunlit building located at 421 N 2nd Street in downtown Hamilton, Montana.
